What made you smile today?

It's a reasonably warm evening and our street appears to be out playing! Five adults and twelve children, probably aged about 7- 14 years are out with a football and water pistols playing what appears to be a cross between football and volleyball and squirting! They're all neighbours from along the road and clearly having a great time. No, I'm not joining them, I'm in my pyjamas and about to watch a film, but it has really made me smile to see this happening. Not posh or exclusive, just a good friendly place to live!😍👍

Seeing Steve well enough for our gorgeous weekend away at Rick Steins Bannister's in Mollymook on the NSW south coast. His birthday was yesterday so I took the day off and we drove down at lunch time. It's 3 hours south of Sydney so should be very cold; but we are blessed with an above average sunny temp of 23 degrees today. We even have a hot tub on our balcony

I'm very happy.
A man damaged our gate post with his van. He didn't report it to us just pretended it didn't happen. I found out who it was took pictures of his van with the damage and his van reg. I also found out his name is Marcus it said so on his van. I also found out who he worked for. Marcus was given the opportunity 3 times over 4 wks to discuss this damage and what we were going to do about it. He didn't. I spoke to the CEO of the firm and one of his colleagues, sent them the photos and they have kindly agreed to pay for repairs and apologized for the workers rude behaviour. One more of my builder neighbours is going to sort it. Id love to know what's happened to Marcus.
