Yes, Scamp was lovely. I don’t think I ever heard him bark - he wasn’t a yappy dog - and I loved being with him. He was very much Grandad’s dog and they used to go on long walks in the woods near their home, often with me trying to keep up. The woods are long gone, replaced by houses.

I experienced my best mam moment to date this morning.

We’re going to play crazy golf later and I asked him if he wanted to be on mammy or daddy’s team. And he said mammys team. And I said we’re going to wiinnnn. And he said daddy’s better at golf than you mammy! So I was like why do you want to be on my team then??? And he said 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

I’ll always be on your team mammy 😭😭😭
