Thank you @Jacqui-S for mentioning the fleece mats from Jacob’s Den. I ordered a small one for the van - not because Red has a wee problem but she is often wet from weather/walks/sea. It can be hard to get her completely dry snd she will only tolerate her robe for a very short time. Her new mat will be for sleeping on at night and so any moisture will get wicked away. I ordered the small which I’m sure will be big enough for the space she sleeps in

Great! They are so good. I know they aren't cheap but they work well, and get more efficient with washing apparently 🙂

I decided this morning that we would have a "play" walk today, it's months since we have done that, I'm not sure why it dropped off the radar through the winter.
We just went into the fields, Cass doesn't bother to play with a ball outside of the house but I have discovered that she will play and retrieve her snipe dummy for fun if I play it right!
I had set out to brush up ping pong recall/two pip turn whistle, again we hadn't done it in an age. I should do it more often because it really revs her up.
But to make it interesting for her I chose to throw the bits of sausage over a stream and up a bank, great fun for her! The best bit was unscheduled - of course one piece fell into the water and she spent ages looking for it :laughdog: - I could see it on the stream bed and she clearly knew exactly where it was poking her nose at it and blowing bubbles. Eventually she got with a bit of help from me with a stick!

My big smile for today :):giggl: -- makes me feel like a kid if I'm honest

I did that earlier this week. Don’t know why I suddenly thought of it and why we haven’t been doing it. We played touch ’touch 5 times, then get a treat’, ‘weaving’ and ‘cop cop’ (she does a middle, puts her front paws on my boots and we walk together several steps. I thought we mustn’t lose sight of these games as it was fun
