Chewie normally sleeps on our bed. Last night OH slept with Rowan so I could rest and Chewie would normally lie on his pillow. He knew I was sore and decided to spend the whole night on his own bed. He is always very careful if he thinks someone needs special care. Considering what a buffoon he is, it always amazes me.

This has bought a huge smile to my face. When we moved here in July, our three seater settee (there’s a matching 2 seater) could not be got in the house. The removal guys tried their best but just wasn’t possible. The only way it could come in was by taking a window out and bringing it in that way. The sitting room has had extensive work done to it - totally re plastered and decorated walls and ceiling, new plumbing for new radiators, door taken off ready for a new one, new lighting and all new skirting etc and a new wooden floor. The room was like the kitchen, stuck in the eighties.
it all happened today and it went like clockwork. I was so scared about the process - enormous window to come out, very heavy settee to carry from the garage and lift over the sill - so many factors to go wrong……but it’s in. Phew
what a relief……one giant step to getting sorted
