Well done all of you, great teamwork! You should be all straight in time for Christmas at this rate!

The bathroom is being turned into a shower room next month and then the en suite (which is an unusually big room) is becoming a bathroom in January but the bulk of it (new doors, new front door, carpet upstairs, roman blinds, radiators) will be done by Christmas. I am very very tired but it’s best it’s done this way and so far the people who have been working for us have been really niceYou should be all straight in time for Christmas at this rate
She must have been relieved that you didn’t add to the delay by posting the photo first!Pee Ess, I hasten to add that this was taken a few hours ago! She's had her walk now!
Those were exactly my thoughts and looking at that face I wouldn't have dared! She must have been relieved that you didn’t add to the delay by posting the photo first!
Love Rowan's clothes. We had diwali celebrations at work, school and childcare today. All good fun and the kids love dressing up in bright clothesWe celebrated Halloween yesterday and Diwali today. I'm still sore and tired but I've tried to make it fun for Rowan
He dressed as a Lorax yesterday and we did a little lap of the block, chatted to neighbours and collected a few sweets.
Today he wore a kurta set to preschool, they learnt about Diwali and when I picked him up he was squatting in the sandpit in his outfit, top flapping in the breeze, wearing his aviators like some sort of little Bollywood star. We have put out some lights and will eat some sweets my mum made.

I love how he has complete self confidence to be as flamboyant as he likes, which is very. I really hope he always stays in touch with that self belief because I've only started to find it again in adulthood.I love Rowan’s kurta, he looks gorgeous - and this made me laugh

Yes, he has a wonderful sense of style. I always think he looks great!I love how he has complete self confidence to be as flamboyant as he likes, which is very. I really hope he always stays in touch with that self belief because I've only started to find it again in adulthood.
Love thisI think this makes me smile but mixed feelings. In our new village, the postman goes round in his little red van and one day we walked by him as he got out the van. He gave Red a Bonio biscuit without asking me first. I was a bit taken aback but I let her eat it. They are large dog biscuits. Well now everytime she sees him or his van she will not move. One day he was a little way from his van and he went especially to get her a biscuit. I said ‘you have made a rod for your own back, she will not forget’ and laughed. Anyway he has a big box of these on his passenger seat and all the dogs get them. The last two days, we’ve had a lot of mail and he’s left it by the front door, each time with a Bonio biscuit on top. I think it’s the begging bit I don’t like as Red is a typical Labrador - food obsessed and a first class memory …..but a part of me thinks it’s rather nice that he is so generous to all the dogs in the village

I get this Alison, I don't like people giving Cass food without asking me first, especially those cheap type of treats that are laced with sugar etc that she seems to lose her mind over - I'm sure she has a sugar addiction. And no, she never forgets either. He gave Red a Bonio biscuit without asking me first.
