This is lovely and heartwarming Kate . Tell me, how did you demonstrate how to use them to her?Following her amputation , we bought a little set of soft step for Nelly so that she could get onto the sofa unaided . Well , she was very suspicious of them and for some time , I had to show her what to do , then progressed to putting treats on the sofa , still nothing spontaneous from Madam until yesterday when she surprised us by running up the steps with no encouragement from us . Since then , she has used the steps a lot and sits on the sofa looking pleased as punch
