It's like she suddenly realised that this big blue thing is actually full of water 
It's the first time I've let her come inside the pool fence with me. She's a little unsure as the sand near the edge is very sinky at the moment (it's only been roughly backfilled so far - pencil compaction will happen this week) but I'm sure we're only one warm day away from this becoming HER pool

Yes, they're so excited! To be honest, OH and I are pretty pleased too. I can't wait for hot summer days and warm summer nights. I'm working out my new pool furniture purchases and looking at a full set of pool safe glass wear. Of course I need every type of wine glass

We have been to lunch at my daughter’s today. Sitting there and Bogey the tortoise appeared. I have put photos of him on here before. He is amazing - he moves at such speed - I’m sure the sun on his shell gives him solar power

I just watched 'The Art of Driving in the Rain' which is a movie told entirely from the perspective of a much-loved dog. It is truly beautiful and I recommend it thoroughly

She did yes, twice. But the edge was quite slippery so she wasn't that sure. The paving is being done at the moment so we'll see what happens when it's complete.
