What made you smile today?

I would hope no-one would try to hide their sniggers, or uproarious laughter, at the sight of me trying to escape my hole! I couldn’t step out because every time I stood on the edge, I just broke through the crust, so was trying to wriggle out on my tummy, worm-style. Not dignified for a forty-year old “lady”
J took some video of another bit later on, but it was nowhere near as funny.

Sunday lunch in a pub with my brother and his wife today. Very nice but very large so I asked for a doggy bag, adding that it actually was for a dog, so presentation wasn't all that important. This is what the lad serving us brought back

Spencer being a good boy at Church this morning.

I’m not good at teaching pups to settle so this was a big smile moment. He hadn’t been any walks before so that gave him extra ‘good boy’ points.

Nelly being a little better this afternoon made me smile . Then Reuben doing his whistle training , being such a good boy until another dog walker appeared round the corner with two dogs , and it went to pot ! Never mind, Rome wasn't built in a day lad xx

Hey, thank you! You've reminded me that I wanted to ask the local leather shop if they could add a little ring like that on my 8-way leash so I could have my own 'whistle on the floor' moments.

A sweet lady made it for him, we keep it at Church. It even has a zip off cover.

It was enormous when she first gave it him!

Mas has recently discovered ‘Nap time’ when I sit on the sofa he throws himself on his back and burrows down until he’s squeezed in between me and the sofa and then he snores

Haha, Luna does that too, it's so funny! She also eats SO much snow as we walk. She just wanders along, taking bites out of it, like she's munching on a candyfloss!

Not a single soul at Golitha , yayayay !!!!!!!!!! Fair weather walkers I suppose , shame on them if they have dogs but it was wonderful for me and Reuben , all that woodland to ourselves , in the pouring rain , but little did he care ! Nelly does care , she had five minutes and then sat in the warm car with her beloved Dad , whilst we tramped and sloshed through the streams , heaven x
