Maxx being so gentle with my 93 year old Dad last night. Dad never liked dogs but he is coming around and even gave him a pat when Maxx brought a toy to him, dropped it as his feet then sat in front of him with his best 'im cute' look on his face! Then he picked up the toy and galloped around the lounge room doing little leaps like an idiot and Dad laughed out loud

This. I don't know what sort of bird it is but I've seen it in the same place a few times and I love its bright yellow feathers and constant movement. Sorry it's a bit long but I'm being lazy and haven't edited it

Yep you are spot on @SwampDonkey , and fits in with them feeding in shallow water, looking for midges, worms and very soon, tadpoles.

We went for brunch at a tea shop today with Mas, it was FREEZING and the ladies inside brought out a blanket (they have outdoor seating for people with dogs) - I said thank you and she then said she had brought it out for Mas who proceeded to curl up on it throughout the meal

Def a Grey Wagtail. You'd think it's be a Yellow Wagtail with it's lovely colouring, but the Yellow Wagtail is even brighter.

No smile at all today, its the " meeting up with my sister " day and I am dreading it ! Reubs has been such a good lad for the last few days , so I just know that he is going to be a little sodlet ! I will load myself with treats , hope for the best but expect the worst xx

you have my sympathy, I'm the youngest of 4 girls, no matter what position I held in my professional life or how the wider world sees me, once in the family set up I was always just "the baby", and pretty inadequate with it!
