What made you smile today?

Big smile today , when one of my older grandsons came over to cut the grass . He brought Silas with him and, as predicted , Reuben went crackers with excitement but he calmed down very quickly indeed . I was in the greenhouse tidying up , and saw Silas sitting on one of our benches , smoothing Reuben ( and Nelly ) , then sharing his banana with them both . Silas had not really taken to Reuben , he is a bouncy puppy , totally unlike his beloved Sam , but today , I could see the interaction , Silas was beaming at Reubs and then came to tell me that he thinks Reuben is a very nice boy x

Thought there would be not a lot of smiles today, leaving an island paradise to come back to another snowfall BUT saw a black lab drug sniffer in the Dominican airport. Then another in Toronto! Then we were reunited with Quinn (who I think wants to live with my parents full time )!
