What made you smile today?

Today Nathan and Ella were playing and Nathan became a little too enthusiastic (they seem to take it in turns over which one gets a little OTT ). Anyway, Nath ran up and got a little too much in Ella's face which made her turn her head to the side and yawn.

Nathan immediately ran to me and said "Ella did that yawn so she was saying she wasn't happy so I stopped the game to move away from her. I think she's happy now. Is she?"

He's only three and he caused her discomfort (which is less than desirable) but he's learning to read her body language and respect her boundaries

Ella charges at balloons and flies in with her front paws. She always pops a balloon within seconds
