What's.....

I find it hard not too.
He's got real sports dog potential. He fast nimble and clever. Someone who wants a good flyball or agility dog would love him. I think he could do canicross too. Such a athletic boy.
She clearly doesn't want to do any hard work or think and plan his training. The trainer who she's been talking to have her some ideas which were good she did them for 1 day then just went back to her old ways. She doesn't seem to learn and it frustrates me.the idea if changing what she does is a no-no. I change my methods to suit the dog I try new stuff all the time. What I do now is so different to what I did 25 years ago change is good. My dogs are happy loving creatures we love being together. We aren't perfect but we like each other

She's realised what s nervous dog he is and that she needs to start to encourage him and not be angry with him. Halter gone, tight harness gone, shock collar gone. New walking and exercise regime. Measures to lower his stress and make him happy. All the family are now helping and he's having shorter but smaller walks. He's not allowed of lead and she's using a long line and playing games. He's jogging with her son once a week and a friend once a week. She's keeping him away from what he finds stressful at the moment. He wears a muzzle in public as I told her and the trainer has told her he will bite. She's said this is my fault I realise now. I need to stop what I did before and learn to handle him in a way that is not hurtful or stressful. She got a yellow nervous lead and is trying hard to change and understand him

She asked me if I thought he'd be able to go off lead again and I said no it's too dangerous that's how bad he is. I also explained that I've trained my dogs from puppies in preparation for adulthood it takes time and that she needs to start afresh with him. She needs to open her mind

Saw her this morning so proud of her she bought him out for a walk yesterday and there was too many people he got very distressed his heart and breathing were going crazy so she stopped saw his upset and took him straight home to calm him. I told her how great that was. Before she would have just carried on get more and more angry and him more upset.

That’s super news. Big progress.
