Errrr ... definitely not. I made a rule years ago that nobody was to buy me anything for the kitchen. It was my Birthday yesterday I had a wire wall art deer head (Moose really!) and the remainder of the money to go to my choice of animal charity. I'm having a stressful nightmare day at work and I received this from OH. It made me smile. And no, he still isn't allowed on the bed! However Steve was finally getting peace and quiet so left him there. A short time later went back to find Sir Sheds-a-lot with his head on my pillow! No pic of that though.
Hope work improves,. But beds and sofas are civilising influences on dogs. Mine are always happier when allowed access. Maybe the smell comforts them I don't know ?

I love napping with Chewie these days. And he loves it too. Last night both he and OH had a simultaneous coughing fit (very weird, I wonder if there was something in the air?) And OH went to sleep on the sofa bed so he wouldn't keep me up all night. So of course Chewie ended up on the bed. On top of my legs in the king bed... Stealing the duvet.

It's a good point Swampy. He does seem happier. The other Sunday morning he jumped up and we let him stay cos how can you not? Anyway we ended up sleeping in and missed dog training! Maxx had 3/4 of the king bed and we had the other. Sounds pretty fair

@kateincornwall My husband has finally realised I won't be best pleased with kitchen equipment or household items for my birthday, it took a while though, including a tea's made one year and a garden trug another
