Glad you managed a beach trip @Emily_Babbelhund , we have had snow showers and lots of hail plus high winds . just horrible x I am pleased of course that Reubs is much improved but he is happy to just have ten minutes out in it which is a blinkin good job given the weather , Nelly has only had the garden today x
We've had a lot of hail, too. At one point it looked like someone had upended a huge salt shaker all over the garden!

Snow, snow nice. Hope you all manage to enjoy it for at least 5minutes before it disappears (depending on where you live).
Hopefully the weather calms down a bit for you all soon.

@Emily_Babbelhund that is not wierd jumping into the sea, even in winter. Go North and you can go ice bathing...Go on dare you..

I hardly even know what to say anymore! We've just got WEATHER! It changes from moment to moment, rain, sleet, hail, snow, sometimes sun, completely unpredictable! The weather app on my mobile phone can't keep up with it Wind seems to be consistent enough though! Oh yes, and mud, how could I forget mud? I am just thankful that Joy and I live in a solid and safe house, way above flood level, with good neighbours, friends and family around. Not sure how many can say that nowadays.

Carbon and I just came back from the beach. We got a break in the rain, but the wind is gusting and the temps finally dropped. Harlyn was all ours and Carbon had some fun games of find the treats with them flying all around in the wind. Finally a couple of other crazy humans and dogs showed up and eventually I'd had enough blowing, even with more than adequate weather gear.

I put Carbon in the back of the car and as I was struggling to open my own door, I notice the woman in the car next to ours doing the same, though trying to get out. Then I notice that she and her partner are dressed in swim suits (trunks and suit) no other clothes, no shoes. Ehhh???!

Then from the coziness of the TARDIS, I see these two nutballs run down the beach (difficult enough with all the stones) and DIVE into the waves. Thankfully they didn't actually try to swim (the waves were crazy high) but ran out as soon as they were 100% wet. They jumped back into the car and drove off.

I know I keep saying it, but people are weird. :|
I saw someone swimming in the Baltic in Helsinki!!!!! Bonkers. The waves were high, the wind was fierce, the temperature was around zero (much below with the wind chill). Then he hauled himself out via the harbour wall, stripped off, dried himself off, put on his tracksuit and cycled off!! We saw him do this each day!!!!!

the old one is like a friend
This would get me. I have had all my cars save the last one until they fall to pieces because I can't bear to get rid of them. Even the last one that I had to leave in California that was still in good condition, it went to a friend so I knew it had "a good home". Heaven forbid the wailing that's going to happen the day I have to say goodbye to the TARDIS.
