Relaxed atmosphere?I had a one to one training session with a Golden retriever. He is coming to my adolescent classes starting this week, I hadn't met him before so wanted a quick session first. Oh my! Every single exercise he was asked to do he just rolled over on his back for a tummy rub! He would think about it... wait.. then over he went! He was simply hilarious!![]()
Go for it!I'm enjoying my endophin high, most energy I've had in months.![]()
You describe it beautifully @edzbird - these are the things I’m loving at the moment. Ooh, and the sloes of course! Everything seems about 4 weeks later than last year.A big smile for the hedgerows turning slowly to Autumn. I had a lovely walk with Coco this morning. The temperature is 17C and rising, there is barely any wind and the sun is shining, it streams through the trees, picked out by a little smoke from a nearby bonfire which smells delightful. All the fruits are ripening, the Hawthorn berries, the blackberries, some Victoria plums (I couldn't reach them - they used to hang over the wall, but the tree has been cut back). The orb spiders have been busy, so many perfect, silver webs picked out by the morning sunlight. I pointed out some Cuckoopint fruits to Meg. They are shiny green at the moment, soon they will turn to vivid red. Not to be eaten! Yes, a fine morning to bring a big smile.
Meoow!@SwampDonkey it took me a while to work out that your new profile pic wasn’t a bear’s paw.
The original medieval experience is definitely something you could sell to the tourists@edzbird and @HAH y'all are making me miss Cornwall even more!
It's a beautiful day here in Regensburg but in the middle of town not too many lovely smells and berries. More garbage collection day pong and discarded pretzel bits and other unmentionables on the cobblestones...but hey, that adds to the medieval authenticity.![]()
I'm sure the hundreds who are here are enjoying it. Thankfully it's only on trash day, but whew...you do get a glimpse of the medieval life one day a week! The original medieval experience is definitely something you could sell to the tourists![]()
Thanks for helping me keep the hope alive! And you're right, I actually WOULDN'T want to be there now or any time in the summer. This is one emmet who isn't going to add to that particular Cornish problem. I'm sorry to hear about the COVID numbers down there, though. I've been taking a news sabbatical for the past couple weeks so wasn't aware of that going on in Cornwall.I'm absolutely certain you belong here, it's just a matter of negotiating the stepping stones in between.
My Shubunkins friends took six years, so we will see. I think koi grow faster.@Boogie how long will it take before your new koi friends outgrow your pond? I'm guessing years and years, but I'm curious...
