What made you smile today?

Shamas learned "touch" from Trixie

He's always struggled to learn. He can sit, lay down, and sit, down sit. He can stay in a sit position, if I'm in sight.

But tricks...he can't figure them out. Took me 45 minutes, and half a ham sandwich to teach a paw...and he only ever learned to offer the right paw. Ask for the left, and he falls over lol.

Not anymore it's been broken dragged and zoomied round the garden and house at full Iver speed. I couldn't help laughing. He's fast a sleep now so exhausted form his crazy silliness. I found a bit of root but I don't hold out my hope, I've shoved it back in fingers crossed.

Been talking to my sister on the phone - she has MS and has had a long spell in hospital earlier this year but has been home now for six weeks. She was always very artistic and clever with a needle, doing beautiful paintings and embroidery and such like, MS largely robbed her of that but she always kept going in whatever capacity she could.
I was delighted when she told me that she is planning a collage or something based on a photograph and is feeling excited gathering all her materials together. What with everything, Covid induced depression I think plus a hospital stay it's been a while, so it has really made me smile
