I've been sitting here thinking 'Here we go, into The Dark ', then I realized that we're actually approaching our way out of it! It started getting darker (here in the UK) on the 21st of June. It's now very nearly November, which means it starts getting lighter again in less than two months time!
Roll on those warm spring evenings...xxx

Oh that is a better way of thinking about it, thank you. I loathe these dark nights, so depressing, but now I am going to try and think of it in a more positive frame of mind.

Joy does a similar thing every morning. I put my jacket on, put treats, poo bags, ball etc etc in pockets, then sit down to put my boots on. Every single day now Joy checks to see that the ball in in my pocket at this point. I think I have forgotten it twice in five years, she still has to check though !🤣❤

Went out to my book club meeting thisevening, braving the wind and rain. I've missed the last few meetings due to Covid (1) and being away (3). They're a lovely group of people and were pleased to see me back. Best of all though was the welcome from my GGJ when I arrived home! I had only been gone for an hour and a half and there are no signs of anxiety when I leave her, but she does shower me with love when I come home, and brings me ALL her toys! Almost worth going out for!

Never forgotten the ball 🎾 but occasionally forget the treats. She’ll look at me but understands what I’m saying. I always feel bad but it doesn‘t seem to bother her and she gets quite a few when we get home

I keep a coat loaded up. I have a tennis ball squeaky ball, hairy ball or tuff e nuff toy, pheasant game ball on a rope, extra lead rape alarm poo bags keys and sachet of dog food. All toys can vary I occasionally a pheasant lure or rabbit lure. My coat has massive pockets and I do take a ruck sack if I'm taking a foot ball.
I do look pregnant though

Jackson had his allergy specialist appointment today. They repeated the skin prick test with the same cooked egg as last time and added a test for fresh raw egg whites. There was no reaction to either form of egg!
So now we have downgraded his action plan to non-anaphylactic (so we can ditch the Epi-pens) and have a plan to introduce the uncooked egg over the next couple of months and the specialist hopes we'll be able to throw away the action plan all together by the end of January!!
