Mr Stanley Blue

Do you think this might be inadvertently rewarding him for behaviour you don't want? Just a thought.
Yes, but I’m at a bit of a loss as how to change it without him being very vocal throughout the night. Last night he slept from midnight to 3am with us then firm 3-4 wanted to toilet twice (pee then poop) then wanted breakfast, I gave him a raw hide chew instead. Then at 5am he was awake again jumping on me and trying to nip me, somehow I got him to settle to 6am. This time we stayed upstairs.

In my view, and I don't call myself a dog trainer but this what I did with Cass at 3-4 months, I think you need to stay up with him once he has had a wee etc but don't interact with him. Just make a cup of tea and potter about until such time as it is reasonable for him to have his breakfast and start the day.

He is such pretty boy! I love the pic of him against the green door and also the one where he’s smiling with all the girls.

Sorry you’re not getting proper sleep. It would get anyone down. But hopefully he’ll soon settle into a routine. Snowie, at the tender age of 13, also sometimes can’t settle. We find either a bowl smeared inside with peanut butter to lick helps him settle, or warm soup. Stanley might start to demand it, though! So hopefully those more experienced with puppies will have better advice.

I agree, before too long you'll be looking back and thinking that it didn't last very long and wasn't really such a big problem and that it was all worth it, because he will have grown up to be such a lovely boy!
