With Flicka, she just rolled over onto her back and I gently nicked the top off each nail on her forelegs, back nails never need doing. Hardly anything was taken off in the beginning and then there was the offer of a 'special biccy' for afterwards which I keep just for nail trimming.
@Emily_Babbelhund, what an adventurous life you live, really living and not wasting a moment. Also brave! I do admire you, fortunately I get to 'visit' second hand which is great, thanks to you 😃
What wonderful travels you have, have you always have had wanderlust? I thought the streets were shiny because they had just been washed! Are they shiny because of stone used, or worn down over the centuries?
My neighbours have adopted a rescue Golden Retriever, 6 years old, a delightful dog and she has made such a difference to their other dog who they lost a few months ago. Rosie, the one left, is not perky and happy, an amazing difference.
Having recently (well a year) gone through the same, I would say while Molly is eating and the lump is manageable, let Molly make the decision when she has had too much, they do tell you. It is one of the saddest part of our lives to lose a beloved dog.
Carbon is thinking he is the luckiest of dogs, constant company of his beloved Mama, sunshine, interesting journeys, and glad to get on the road again :sun:
