Yes. It was the head vet who owns the practice that done the biopsy and X-rays. He is usually meticulous. 75% of the time she is which helps. The other 25% she spits them out and after a few tries I give up as she gets so stressed. It’s so hard waiting!

This is a picture of Harley’s leg/hock/paw. It is her right rear. As you can see, she doesn’t straighten it and her paw isn’t flat. She’s been struggling more as the day has gone on 😢

She was a bit restless last night, but a bit better today. She’s having a chill day today.

Harley is quite sleepy but won’t settle. Her tongue is poking out and has been since she’s been home. Is this normal? She’s not done this before. She eaten a bit, but won’t drink. Any ideas/ thoughts?

Just got home. X-rays been sent to specialist- will get answers in a few days. They can see swelling but are unsure why / what! Needle biopsies taken and sent off which will also be a few days. Just have to wait now.

Sorry for the silence. Harley is having X-rays and biopsies on Monday. The vets think it a a tumour. I’m still processing everything they have said and our options. Harley is generally ok and being very affectionate. I will update more when we know.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts. We are hanging in there and doing what we can to keep her moving without aggravating it more. We are currently chilling in the garden in the beautiful sunshine (Harley is led in the shade as too warm for her).

The antibiotics are going in every day, but unfortunately she isn’t really getting any better. She is eating better, but the swelling hasn’t gone down and she won’t put her foot flat still. My OH took her up the road for a very short walk as she kept pestering him and sitting by her collar and...
