Very sad news - sending condolences to Helen and family

It’s awful and we couldn’t believe it happened so young. We struggled for weeks deciding to do both or one at a time and because she didn’t have a good leg, I’m glad we did it all at once so she used both legs right away.

Primrose was able to slip harnesses, the classic being she was on her mat in training class on loose leash and i didn't notice she quietly backed out of it and was eating a stick behind me and the trainer noticed before I did! The carabiner did work, so it seems like Angel must be pulling out...

A few days shy of 11 months (and on Quinn’s birthday no less) Prim has started her first heat. I’m sad because now we can’t do our photo with Santa! She’s really matured the last month - she’s faster and more agile and now carries two balls in her mouth (to drive Quinn insane)!

My friend has a cockerpoo the same age as Quinn and he seemed to mature faster - he definitely prefers people over dogs things. We joke that when he stays with us that he’s like “oh god, not another hike and these lunatics swimming and chasing balls”.

Primrose carried on for months wanting Quinn’s food, but I fed her in her crate and she stayed in there until Quinn was done eating despite her crying and carrying on and not eating her own full meal. Over time she’s been able to be eat out of the crate and pays no attention to Quinn, but they...

I’ve been happy with apoquel - it gives some flexibility for Quinn who I’ve managed her seasonal itchiness and gotten down to one pill every 2-3 days for two months only this year. I would discuss apoquel vs cytopoint with your vet as there are pros and cons to both. I chat to our vet each...

Glad Snowie is doing well!

I was going to try it this year with Quinn but with the lockdowns I decided not to. My vet said some dogs respond super well and others still require pills at peak itchy times - not sure that helps you!
