Beautiful Bella

So sad Bella continues to have a prolapse, is there any hope this can be resolved?
There are other surgeries possible, but they're complicated due to the number of nerve endings in the area. And the issue with her having neurological issues which mean she has less control in that area means that the general outward flow of materials is always pushing the rectum outwards, without the contraction to make it return. So there are considerations to any surgery.

Poor Bella isn't having a good time of it at the moment. As well as all her checkups and bottom stuff (we've just started a course of light therapy! WTF?!) I had to take her in last week to have a grass seed removed from her inner ear - and they found one in both. And today she was in to have a thorn removed from inside her paw. I knew there was something there and had cut all her hair right back, showing it was red and swollen, but with no sign of entry. I also found a worryingly large lump further up the leg that the vet says is from the infection.

She's now zonked out, very quiet and didn't even raise her head for dinner. The spaniel is broken :(

At least they coordinated her bandage.
