Doggy brags

This has nothing to do with me or any training we have done, but Chewie was literally sharing toys with dogs at the park. He would carry one for a few metres, then drop it in front of another dog so they could hold it. The woman at the boarding kennels also said he was very good at sharing.

He is so lovely.

Took both to the Vets yesterday evening.
Vanilla for a check up of her ears after another flush a couple of weeks ago.
Honey for a general checkup but also due to her having very dark pigmentations on her skin due to hormone changes.
Good as gold having to have both in consult room together. Waiting their turn, but then checking each after over once one was finished.

Flippin heck, my worst nightmare happened this morning:eek::eek:

Cassie and I bimbling along in the woods in our own world, minding our own business, when to my absolute horror I saw a white woolly shape not more than five foot in front of Cass. A sheep from the field bordering the wood was munching on some brambles. At the same moment it legged it before I could recall Cass, who of course shot off after it, just feet away from it, she could easily have grabbed a mouth full of wool and hung on, but she didn't. I bawled out something, I don't what I said, but after 30/40 yds she turned round and came back, thank the Lord. :whew::whew:
It makes me feel ill, her anywhere near a sheep. :sheeproll::sheeproll:

We played all sorts of fun games with bits of sausage to celebrate her coming back to me . Maybe I should thank the lambies :cancan:

A young man has taken to walking in our lane and up to the National Trust grounds near to us in the past few months. Maybe he's recently moved here - anyway, he walks with his guide dog, a beautiful black lab.

I've mentioned before that Molly is a devil for rushing up to dogs, so desperate to be friends and play - no we don't do the 'she's just trying to be friends' thing - we have always been working on it.
However, this lad and his dog approaching has always worried me in case he appeared when I wasn't aware and Molly ran to his dog and caused a problem, he does walk quite quickly. We've been training 'sit/stay' when we see him, making sure Molly has seen him too.

Well, today, as he approached, Molls went into a sit by the side of the path and stayed as he passed, she made no attempt to move and was not on the lead.

Very proud of my funny little brown dog.
