Doggy brags

Today Hattie and I had an extremely wet and windy walk. We walked across the footpath through a large field where there was a shoot. Lots of beaters with big orange flags and dogs! Hattie walked off lead beside me looking at me remaining there even when the guns were going off which were near  She sat at the stile whilst I climbed over and walked diagonally across the paddock, I put my hand out for a long distance hand touch. Another sit/stay whilst I walked across the other side of the paddock for another long distance hand touch then back to another stile. There were two Spaniels barking like crazy and running along the fence but nothing shook Hattie's focus on me. She waited for me to climb over, wait for my cue for her to come under the stile where she sat waited for me to put her lead on. Proud of my lovely girl and so happy I trained for every eventuality because you just never know what's round the corner. xxx

The four of us went to my parents' place for a Diwali lunch today and Chewie was a dream. Barked excitedly a couple of times and then napped quietly on the floor. Followed my mum around and gently sniffed my 93yr old grandmother. Yay!
Good boy Chewie 🥰

Happy Diwali! We had a celebration at work on Thursday (best. samosas. ever.) and Nathan had a celebration at childcare too. The kids were encouraged to dress up so Nathan borrowed some clothes from a friend 🙂

Everso pleased with Reubs , I havent felt too good today , so my grandson Adam who had his day off work today, kindly offered to take Reuben for a walk . I was a little worried , which is daft really as Adam comes on many walks with me and the dogs , but I havent ever missed taking him so just hoped he would be alright . No worries , they had an hour , Adam declared that Reubs had been a star , no bother at all and that he would be happy to take him any time when he has a day off work , good lad Reuben xx
