So proud d of the little fella. He's had terrible travel sickness since arriving home. We've worked on this and for the first time on a stoke journey he's not been sick. He travelled on the back seat with me on the way and in the estate boot with Rory on the way back. He was happy relaxed and calm. Such a good boy.

That's good news @SwampDonkey , I think they do outgrow travel sickness, don't they?
He's matured a lot physically but because he'd been sick he got anxious about the car so we had to work on lowering his stress about it. Lots more of small journeys to fun places. Hopefully his anxiety over it is on the way out now.

Reuben was on fire today ! We did lots of recall , brilliant response . Then we did some blind retrieves and oh boy , he was just magic to watch, it filled me with pure joy at his enthusiasm and drive . I realise that tomorrow is a new day, he may well not be the same as he is still only 15 months old, but I will take today and embrace it x

With Amber I'd get a good day and a bad day quite consistently. Now she is mostly constant on the side of nearly good. I love her quirks. That's just who she is. The others have just grown and been consistent in their training and behaviour but Amber is just my mad, happy hippo!

Proud of my girl today. We had visitors for the day with two dogs - one a busy puppy. Red was exemplary. She played with them, let them play with her toys, let them go in her bed, walked nicely round the village with them. She’s tired now

I have banished Reubens ball , for a little while at least . He adores it ( it one of the chucka ones ) but he gets a bit silly over it , especially towards the end of a walk when he sometimes plays up . On a walk without it, he is much better behaved, more responsive all round , so its in my bag for the time being . He seems to split his time between being an angel and a demon , par for the course at his age x
Chewie has become so good when my parents come over, barring the initial 5 minutes of happy barking and running around. I'm so pleased as I was quite worried since they aren't doggy people and my mum was a little scared of dogs.
She still sometimes thinks his bark is angry. Never, ever. I don't think he knows how to be angry, which is why I am so protective of him (unreasonably so, to some people).
