Yes, she does, but not in the seemingly aggressive way that Wispa did. Although she’s a bit of a quivering wreck, she allows a certain amount of examination, eg leg extensions. Wispa originally had to be held - and I couldn’t guarantee she wouldn’t snap if she was frightened, whereas Tuppy just ducks put of the way! Today the vet immediately let Wispa off her lead in the consulting room and sat on the floor with her while she licked him!Well done Wispa and you @Granca , for your commitment in making things better for her.
Does Tuppy struggle with the vet too?
The practice recommends them annually after the dog’s seventh birthday so that they can monitor any changes. Why did they have blood tests?
Sounds like a good idea, I have never heard of it being done around here. The practice recommends them annually after the dog’s seventh birthday so that they can monitor any changes.
Ivers quite poorly at the moment and been suffering from a weird virus from 24/08/23. He's just not recovering so we've got crossed fingers here tooRourke loves going to the vets so much, he drags me in, much to my embarrassment. Pleased to say he has improved(I thought I was going to lose him on Friday), he is now on Gabapentin. Fingers crossed.

Yes he is now we first thought it was KC but it's not. He's on a heavy duty anti biotic course at the moment with some pain relief.I'm glad Rourke has improved on the gabapentin. What a relief for you Sonia,
Lambies for Iver. Is he on any treatment?![]()

Fingers crossed tightly for you and Iver, I know what it feels like to be walking a tightropeIvers quite poorly at the moment and been suffering from a weird virus from 24/08/23. He's just not recovering so we've got crossed fingers here too
I don't feel stressed, I'm more deal with today and don't worry about the worst thing unless it actually happens. I think I'm more concerned about Rory catching it. It's not something I've experienced before so I'm just taking it a day at a time.Fingers crossed tightly for you and Iver, I know what it feels like to be walking a tightrope![]()
You are quite right to feel that way, wish I did, I am a pessimistic optimist!I don't feel stressed, I'm more deal with today and don't worry about the worst thing unless it actually happens. That’s good news! I hope the Gabapentin continues to help.Pleased to say he has improved(I
