Hooray for the poo 💩!! Loving these updates Kelsey. Those videos are great, his little spronks are adorable! And Gizmo is being super chilled by the sound of things, what a very good cat. You’re clearly making a great environment for them - well done, what a first few days eh?

Great poo Hugo!
I love the videos of him play bowing to Gizmo.

We have one dog with a sensitive tum - Meg. Poor Coco gets far less little meaty titbits now when preparing food. When we have a barbecue - Coco gets bits of sossij, steak, chicken and Meg gets...oooh yummy cucumber! I feel mean about it, but that's how it has to be.

It’s definitely been a transition with Gizmo, he still hisses a lot but now within good reason, before it was simply for Hugo existing 😂 The other day Hugo was passed out in his locked crate and Gizmo walked by and stopped and stared at him and hissed 🤣 I do try and redirect Hugo most of the time, but I also want him to learn Gizmo’s boundaries asap for everyone’s sake. So I let Hugo engage with Gizmo when Gizmo has a safe escape. If Gizmo is trapped in a corner or looking overwhelmed then I intervene with squeaky toys or now kibble treats if he’s not giving up. But it’s so nice now that they can walk around each other and Hugo will sometimes just sniff him as he walks by or let’s out a whimper of excitement as he walks by instead of chasing him - they are learning 😍. Can’t believe it’s been a week today since I brought him home!

Aww yes, sadly it’s how it has to be. Sensitive tums are a lot of work figuring out.

Hugo is 9 weeks old today! Some morning outside play time. Really working on recall and having him want to follow me around for tasty rewards. Lots of kibble treats being used but he’s doing quite well, until he found deer poop  sooo we are also really working on leave it as well:cwl:

He’s so gorgeous, especially in the second photo where his head is slightly tilted! There was a similar photo a few days ago.
I’m envious of that lovely view too. It reminds me of the view we had in Scotland, looking over the Firth of Clyde.

He has such an adorable head tilt 😍
Thank you, I really do love my view! After a quick google search of Firth of Clyde, I can see how it reminds you of it, very similar!

@Kelsey&Axel Hugo is looking a lot brighter. Back to bouncy puppy mode thank goodness. What is it with dogs and poo ? Why is it such a delicacy? Our problem has always been pigeon muck. Scott and Scout ended up with campylobacter thanks to pigeon muck. After they’d had ecoli in their bladders because of chicken poo. We’ve no chickens on the farm anymore wandering about so Hunter has to make do with pigeon. Interestingly hedgehog poo is of no interest. 🤔

I’ll never understand dogs and poo 😣 Axel loved Goose poop but that was it, any other poo he would give a sniff then turn away in disgust but not goose poop, nope, that stuff he devoured and rolled in it. That is interesting Hedgehog poo doesn’t have any interest but that’s good! Too bad about the pigeon muck though!

Hugo is definitely back to crazy puppy energy, absolutely nothing is safe! So happy to see as exhausting as it may be 😅 Going to hide his lunch in a rolled up towel, also have a frozen kong ready for our little bush drive we are doing this afternoon.
