Joy has been back to the vet today and has had her bandage removed. She is now very interested in her stitches and I have been advised to use a cone. I have one left over from Solstice's cruciate ligament surgery but want to get her a more comfortable alternative. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I also have a soft cone, but they all hate that. They don't mind the inflatable one anywhere near as much. But you have to make the call as to whether she would be able to still reach the stitches with it on.

I have a soft cone (comfy cone) if you would like it? It’s a bit small for Harley and we never use it. I dont want anything for it, and am happy to post to you if it would help?

Hunter had a comfy cone too. Much easier to get on/off as it uses Velcro fasteners which allow an adjustable fit. He hated it but it stopped him licking his stitches.

Thanks for the prompt replies, knew I could rely on you all for that, which is a good feeling. I have just ordered the Buster collar in medium and that should arrive tomorrow, but @Naya if you could send me the comfy cone I would be most grateful, then I can see which is least distressing for her. Poor GGJ. The collars are horrible. Red hated hers but she did get used to it. She eventually accepted it when she needed to wear one that time she wouldn’t stop licking the shaved area on her front leg after her spay

Aww, sad little face. It's awful isn't it, that look that seems to ask why they are being punished for hurting themselves - toooooo hard to bear.
Stanley says GGJ he knows how to get them off and chew them into teeeeeeny tiny pieces so you don’t have to wear them anymore!
