The book I ordered on Canine Enrichment has just arrived so I'm going to swat up before I bring her home. I was meant to be going out for a meal with friends tonight but have had to cancel now of course. However they've said that they'll call in with 'A Bottle of Something' after the restaurant. That'll be good, I haven't seen anyone just socially since Joy hurt her paw. It will mean Wine on a Wednesday though. Norty!:giggl:
Thanks for the hugs, lambies and kind thoughts. XXX
Pee Ess Swampy GGJ and I would LOVE you to come and sleep on her feet! Please bring Rory and Iver too!

She's home with bandage and cone, very drowsy still. I'd walked up to the surgery as it's not far but I was unable to contact either of the local taxi firms that will take dogs so the vet very kindly gave us a lift home. That's service for you! Oh! Someone's just knocked on the door and she barked, that's a good sign. She's a little bit whiny and sorry for herself though. We shall have to have lots of cuddles this evening.

I hope the book’s good - let us know what you and GGJ make of it. It's rotten that it needed extra attention but your vet sounds a good egg, and clearly knows an outstanding dog-hooman relationship when they see one :inlove:

Poor GGJ, she's in the right place for top notch care and I'm sure she'll be feeling a bit brighter soon

That is disappointing for you, another week of lead walking.:-( It does sound though that GGJ has come round very well from the G/A, what a considerate vet taking you home, excellent service.
Yes, I absolutely can't fault them. It was a husband and wife practice for many years and I was always very happy with them. Then the letter came to say that they were retiring and being bought out by another practice and I wasn't sure but so fag

Yes, I can't fault them. He is a great lover of black labs, grew up with them and had one of his own, Maud, age six, photos of her around the surgery. A good sign, I feel.
