I has been doing really well, until this morning when he has brought up liquid with some food from last night 4 times. I had to take the car in for its service first thing so he hasn't had his breakfast yet.

Homer's back legs have gone weak. He was fine yesterday, he ran around playing ball in the park and was happy in the evening moving freely. Last night he was retching a lot, he didn't loose much food through regurgitation but bringing up phlegm and having to forcefully clear his throat. This morning he was a tired not hungry, and continuting to retch so I took him up to teh vet for a Cernia injection. He was relactant at first but walked 200m to the vet. This morning he is finding it harder to move around and hard to sit upright to eat. He had some breakfast late morning but some of that came out again.
He could be a bit stiff but yesterday's exersise was not any more than usual.
He was tested for myasthenia gravis and negative when this all started.

So sorry, what a worry for you, maybe he hurt his back running around yesterday and this is causing the weakness in his back legs?

I hope it is just that, but they appear weak rather than painful.
Oh no I am sorry. Hopefully he has just pulled something rather than an actual weakness, and will be on the mend soon. Such a worry though.

Someone of the Meaoesphagus facebook group suggested weakness could be low blood sugar. He's had some food so hopefully that all goes down, or most of it goes down and he begins to feel a bit better.
Hubby has had an op on his eye, luckily I'm home to nurse both my boys.
