Homer being sick

We are going to try a stronger antibiotic. He had blood tests done and a neurological assessment. Liver and kidney are fine. Highish pulse but no temperature. High white blood cel count so there’s still an infection which could be causing weight loss. Other options are to do x ray and scan which would need sedation. Consensus is that if they do show up anything more sinister we won’t put him through further surgery so not worth the further risk.

He is more himself today. I met up with a colleague for lunch and took Homer on a short walk. Just started the new antibiotics so hope to see an improvement.

He has 7 tins of food yesterday and six the day before! He probably lost about a tin each day but that’s still a lot getting through his system with a really big poop this morning. Slightly less this morning, two for breakfast and one for lunch.
