He tried to eat my hat today, does that count?😁.

I feel such an idiot about the name thing. I was convinced something would stick when we got him. Can i just call him puppy? That's working out so far😂
Don’t feel an idiot. It’s so tricky, and easy to overthink a name, we had real strictures when we got Kipper. I think narrowing it down to Bear and Bear-like names is the way to go - seems to suit him, and you’ve got a few options popping up here already :D Os, Ozzie, Balu, Ben, Paddy/Paddington - it’ll fit in the next few days.

Call him puppy for now. He'll be fine, I'm sure, and the right name will come. It's such early days. It'll all sort itself out, don't worry. xxx

Oh my goodness, the palpitations and agitations I've put myself in over naming dogs!! I feel your pain! I still want to change Carbon's name and I've had him for two years.

All I can say is don't stress about it. Call him puppy or fuzzy Ozzie for now, he doesn't care. Brogan was "Piglet" for his first month and he wasn't scarred for life.

Once you pick a name that suits him and that you and your OH like, you'll know. :giggle:

I know when we got Robbie (our old dog) I went through loads of names and couldn't make my mind up. My OH said why not Robbie, I just loved it, but I would never of thought of it myself. You know you call your dogs lots of names, Fred, Freddie, Lurpak, Handsome and Annie, Sweetheart, Trouble
so just leave it a while and I am sure you will find a name that suits.

I showed Steve your videos and he said two things:
1. "Monty doesn't look impressed"
2. (when I mentioned he doesn't have a name yet) "He looks like a Buzz"

I think he looks like a little fuzzy bear so I'm with the bear thread

The name will come - don’t worry. Sky came to us at 5 months - her first owners called her Paige. We weren’t keen on that so for a week she was called no name. I find myself calling Red ‘Pippit’ a lot these days - where the heck that came from, I really don’t know but she responds to it 😂
