Loo roll stock pile

I bought loads of chocolate bars home from Aldi at christmas. I've hardly made a dent in the stash.. OH has been away...he is bringing a stockpile of Prosecco (6 or 12 bottles). I tried to buy 2 tins of chopped tomatoes yesterday..and again this morning at a different supermarket. None. Then I had a brainwave on the way home and stopped at a Spar (convenience store)...Yeah, they had them. A bit dear, but hey, I actually need them.

I know this was originally about LR's and I know there was a conversation about how much people use. But a certain part has me fascinated about all this. Some on here mentioned what they use for a 1 or a 2, so one square or two squares. I have to ask, 'How big are your squares?'

I am looking at ours and there is no way I could make it work. Like unless you are literally snapping one off clean, I kind of get it....but still can't see it working

Where the heck is this thread going? Ick

We make our own pasta - it's a bit like business class, once you have tried it you can't go back to packet stuff. We haven't stock piled anything except hubby bought a few extra packets of flour and put them in the freezer. We have several tins of tomatoes and two containers of beef mince in the freezer. Plenty of herbs and spices in the garden and in the pantry so all good - we can live off spag bol if necessary

Where ever you want it to go. Bit like 'what's your name scenario - what ever you want it to be.' 😆

But it just had me fascinated....But I did not expect anybody to actually answer, thought that was a bit to intrusive.

Like the fact you make your own pasta. But why do you freeze the flower? Normally they have a long date on them..

They do have long dates but this way you avoid any issues with weavils. Not that we have had a problem in the past but we normally buy an unopened packet when we are almost out of the open one, but seeing we are 'stockpiling' we are taking precautionary measures. Plus there's only the two of us so a packet lasts a long time
