My parents will be back from Greece tomorrow, so unfortunately they won’t be here for support or to say goodbye. They loved him so much it kills me they didn’t get to say goodbye, but they would never want me to wait just for them to see him one last time.
No, anyone who I would want to be with me unfortunately have recently moved, are out of town, or are working. I’ll be doing this on my own

Kelsey, we are with you. You are an amazing gal doing the utmost best for dear Axel. This is the hardest thing we have to do, yet it is the biggest act of love we do for our dogs. Axel has let you know, he is trusting you to do this for him

I so wish we could be with you in person to support you, just seen Emily says the same. Stay with him if you can and try and think happy thoughts until he has gone, I gave mine a titbit as I cuddled him, so he had no idea what was happening. It is such a painful time for you xx
