Oh goodness, I'm just so sorry that they can't get a CT done immediately for youAnother update.
Currently at emergency vet. Noticed his one paw was very swollen and very cold. So getting his legs re wrapped where the fentanyl patches are. Also getting an injection, ketamine I think it’s called, to help with the pain as well. I hope it helps

@Kelsey&Axel , this is beyond traumatic for you, a living nightmare.
Is it possible to speak to your vets re the drugs he has had? In particular about side effects and what you might expect to see with that?
I wonder if they have been able to give him anything for nausea?

I give massages a lot through out the day. It doesn’t stop his crying but I hope it at least helps him some way
lots of pets too. I’ve taken the cone off as well and just have it on when I can’t watch him but the cone being off doesn’t seem to change anything like I hoped it would 
Yeah, I asked tonight, a couple of them can make him feel loopy, which could explain the groaning to a degree for sure. But he is showing physical signs of extreme pain, so a combo it seems
they gave stomach acid meds tonight to help his tummy
Can they not xray him to give them some idea what's going on. It won't be show what an CT shows but it may help.
They did an X-ray but didn’t show anything that would explain this. But possibly the X-ray didn’t go back far enough

Sorry to hear about Axel but hope he is getting better slowly and is more confortable.

Yeah it’s really bad timing, all my best friends have moved, and my parents are in Greece. But I do have some friends here checking in even if it’s just by phone callsWant to just give you a big hug Kelsey.

Having a morning cuddle session. We got three hours of straight sleep last night, plus about an hour more a bit later.

Thanks everyone It’s currently just after midnight here and I can’t sleep. I just can’t turn my brain off. I can’t believe this is happening, I feel it’s a nightmare and that I just need to wake up from it. Axel has been sleeping for three hours with no crying, so that’s been very nice. But I’m sure he’s exhausted from crying all afternoon/evening just need to get him through one more day and night and then it’s time for CT.
