Oh Joy - I do try to be a GoodBoyBoomer just like you - but the world is such an EXCITING place I often forget that bit. I’m 12 months so maybe once I’m nearly 17 hole months I might be a bit more GoodBoy and a bit less 'WOWWWWZER what’s that I must go and see it NOW and twirl around at 100 miles an hr while I do it'

Nelly - I hope you are feeling a bit better. Although I do like the sound of speshul dinners….hmmmm hmmm hmm. I wonder how I can get speshul dinners without doing the poorly bit??

I had a good day. I found a ball on our walk today and played, played, played with it and wouldn’t put it down. Mummy said it was a bit sad how excited I was about a tatty old ripped up ball and perhaps I need some new toys. So not only do I get to keep the ball today….I’ve also convinced her that I’m a very nerklected puppy who needs new stuff. Winner Winner!

Mum wants her tappy thing back - parrently she needs to do boring work. Hmmmm I wonder, shall I try and sit on her head tonight or shall I just keep throwing my tug toy in her face.

Daddy was poorly yesterday and stayed at home. After a while he said I need some fresh air - do you want to go to the beach?Well doh - that is like asking if I want a sosjasje. Anyhow I got a nice walk on the beach with daddy, and played and swam. In the afternoon we then fell a sleep on the sofa and I snuggled daddy.

Today is going to be boring, as my hoomans have gone to work. I will just sleep on my big cushion instead...daddy might take me to the beach when he gets home I hope...

Today is my birvday and mama says I am one hooman year old but 7 doggie years. No ideea wat she means. I had to go to see the white jackets today but white jacket has somfing called floo. I got a nice massage and now my back feels better. Mama did not tell me that I had to have a vaksination as well. I was very brave and kept still. Mama was proud and took me to my faveorit shop afterwards. It is called a pet shop and has lots of yummy smells. If I wiggle me bum and nuzzle the lady , I always gets a treat. Y!UM. I chose a new toy by smelling the one that smelt yummy! It makes lots of nooise so I know mama will like it too! I am off to meat my bestie Max now for a trip to the beech. We always hav fun.

Boomer...often there's a lot of fun to be had by not being good too. Just now, I'm having huge fun barking out the window at the roofers who are working down the road. It's driving mum potty, but I'm laughing at her. AND, get this, I have managed to wangle a few treats for "coming away from the window". She's cottoned on to that now and put them away though.

Happy Burpday Hunter. That sounds a good day. I never hardly ever have birthdays apart from like once a year because Pig-mummy is mean. I deserve birthdays much more often than that.

I did run off this evening.
We got home after a lovely walk and Mum opened the gate and the turned round to talk to Dad who was talkin some nonsense and Squidge and Willow went in but I never did. Mum thought I did but then Dad said "Where's Shadow" and I wuznt there cuz I had done a runner.
Then Dad went down the hill one way to try to find me an Mum went up the hill the other way to try to find me and they were both shouting but I din here them cuz I wuz bizzy smellin' good smells.
Then Dad foned Mum and she said go back home and wate there I'll run the track to find him and Dad went home and I wuz there at the gait pretending I'd bin there all along and wuz everso pleased and waggy to see him. So he called Mum who could stop running which is good cuz she just had a big round burfday and I'm not shure she shud be running too much now at her aje. Then she came home and said she thort I'd bin eaten by the monsta but I hadn't so it was all ok but WhatHasYourFatherBinTeachingYou?! Parrently I have lots of trennin in my future but thass ok cuz trennin means sossidge.

Shadow you sounds smarty pants! I runs off to save my mom from giant yellow monstors called "wheeelie bins" there wos a BIG one at the factorie so I ran, and ran, and ran and chased it...the hooman who was fighting the monstor ran fast too. Then my mom took me into the the factorie ( I dunno why...) but everyone laughed and where surprised how quickly the hooman ran. I wasn't surprised if I was being chased my a monstor, I would run fast too! I hope he aprechiated how helpful I was. Shadow I am glad you are OK... be careful mate, cos you have a monstor too!

Hi friends, I wanted to show you all the balls I have hunted out of the tall grass this whole summer. My Dad took my picture so I could show you. It's not all my balls, because sometimes I let my park friends take one home if I find lots. These are my speshul summer balls and sometimes I run and take them from kids playing something mum calls BASEball.

I went out for lunsh , to a place called Tavistok . Mummy has a sister who dus not like dogs but she thort I was cute . I had some cheese and a bit of cake but they wudnt give me much cos I have had a poowy tummy . Then I went for a walk on the moors near a place called prison , Mummy said its where norty people go , Nelly xx

Shadow, these are very strange and speshul outside only balls. I only ever find them in grass and we don't play with them because they can hurt your mouth, but I am allowed to carry one on the rest of my walk. Orange and blue balls are the BEST and they are not outside only balls. Same with yellow and fluffy...those are for FUN and chasing. My outside balls are for finding and carrying which is less fun overall but still great because BALL.

Hola amigos! I hear you all talk about going to the bum man and this is always confusing me. But today foster lady took me to the doctor and instead of Roberto, the nice doctor back in Spain who gave me sausages, this lady stuck her fingers you-know-where. It wasn't nice AT ALL. Then I thought to my self, que mala suerte, now I understand my friends who say 'bum man'...except I got a 'bum lady'.

After that she grabbed my leg and poked a big needle in it until blood ran out. I didn't like at all, nada, niente. Foster lady said I was a good boy and gave me besitos and cookies, but the bum lady just stared at me. She did not even pet me and tell me I am a good boy. What kind of bum lady is THAT? How can she resist ME when no one else can?

I am a pocito limpy tonight and foster lady is giving me extra gentle cuddles. Normally I say, "Poo, poo, human cuddles make me itch!" but tonight it's OK by me. Tomorrow I will be back to my charming guapo self, never fear!

My friend came to stay yesterday. I got back from my walk with Oli yesterday (my personal walker) and Gus was here, we have had sooooo much fun together. Mum sed he is stayin for 2 weeks! We plaid lots today. Dexter who lives next door came to my gate and keeps barking really horribly to Gus.....i tried to tell Dexter that Gus is nice but he wouldn’t listen. He scared Gus so I let him play with my toys. Here is a photo of us today

Carbon, sorry you are victim of the Bum Lady. Hope the indignity is fading and your Foster Lady cuddles are helping - I bet they are. You should see MY Bum Lady, she is lovely...though she didn't give me any treats, but she did give me Cuddles 'n' Compliments. I'm always a bit wary of treats from them, and mum always has cheez when we go, so that's OK. And she never went near my other end.

I wee'ed on the hoomans' bed!!! It was reely funny, I jumed thru a magic windowe that was opin which I normilly ignor but Curly wasn't lookin so I did try it - easy! An it was a windowe into anudder partov the hooman kennel where I'm not allowed and there was a big soft thing which I jumped on an it was all sooo excitin I had to do a lovely big wee allover the pillows which smeltov Beardy. Curly looked a bit funny when I showd her an she sed "onooo, WHYKipper" which I think ment GoodBoy becos wen she finished restling the bed we went for a walk in the park with all the squirrels and giant puddles with birds in an I got to chase sossigis. It has bin a Good Day.

Mum started packing a bag earlier and I was confused and kept sitting on her clothes. I thought she was going to leve us at home by ourselves. I don’t want to be home alone! She just told me to stop bein silly coz we are goin wiv her to Ply Mouth to see my hooman sister and her boyfriend. Woohoo lots of treats coming my way . We are leven soon so I need to make sure she packs enouf food and toys. Speak soon

Red disappeared this morning - I miss her - Mumsie said she has gone to the kennels. Mumsie and Daddy Hooman are tearing around like mad things particularly in the kitchen where they have been baking all morning and getting in each other’s way and the house looks like a bomb has hit it - boxes everywhere and all these fancy cups and shields that appear every year. I know somethings afoot - hope I am going to Jenny’s.
