Here's a prank you can try. Get up in the night and act like you NEED to go out, like NOW. When the person lets you out, go and hide behind the tree. Do not do anything else. Well OK, you can sniff an stuff. Then eventually, person gets exasperated and shouts in a hushed yell "Coco, for goodness sake! Will you get in!" and they throw a tasty biscuit for you to snaffle on your way back in to bed. I didn't even have a wee or a poo! So funny.
