:inlove: Well done you! If you don't mind pm'ing an address to post a ball :inlove:

Now there are two more balls up for grabs!!! This is getting really exciting now!

what is it
Nodding dog is putting a treat on the floor, with your dog in a sit, just far enough away so that when released to it they have to stand. As soon as they eat it blow your stop whistle as they sit back down and click. Repeat as many times as you want!
It was the advice I received when I asked how to sharpen up her response to stop whistle and it has worked. You can do it quite fast paced and Cassie loves doing it!

This is very neat. Thank you for such a good explanation!

How do you do this @Charlie ?
With great difficulty  I use a "scatter" cue (Fiona's advice) which I have been using for Charlie's triggers to distract him. So with lots of work Charlie hears doorbell - "scatter" - comes to me (sometimes) = treats thrown around the floor. It's a work in progress and it's slow but I am seeing results. My explanations are always crap so hope that helps. xx

@Selina27 That is a really great technique, will give that a go. Thanks x

96. (is that right?) Sendaway to a target stick.

I know it's for restricted exercise, but I started it in my very small garden. You can do it so it incorporates stop whistle, recall and heel work.
Maybe this already on the list?

We are nearly there! So now think about shaping a new behaviour, a new game, for example, making use of a small, limited environment and low arousal games. Games were the dog is learning something "new", and you are not trying to "stop" your dog from doing something, (although of course very handy) Maybe incorporating a bit of scent work maybe?

So let's look at building on new skills, enhancing fine-tuning existing behaviours, working on something a bit different perhaps?

With that in mind and being a bit of a meanie (sorry @Charlie!), I am going to dial it back to next please number 97

NOW GO the end is nigh! :sun:

Number 97. Shaping the hold - this preferably will be a "sausage-shaped" toy, dummy or light dumbbell. You initially keep a gentle hold on the article. click for nose touch, then progressing in small steps until you are marking the dog holding in their mouth. Finally closed mouth with quick hand release – remember not to mark the behaviour until your hands come back to the toy/dummy. :)
