Wow, your storm has made our news over here! The footage of the Millennium dome (or whatever it's called now) is crazy!
He's in Vancouver, which is renowned for horrible weather. He knows very well that I'm a wimpy Californian who agrees with Carbon that wet from above is best enjoyed from a cozy sofa. So...I'm guessing that he really HASN'T seen the news and doesn't know that Eunice is battering us.Which balmy state is your fitness coach based @Emily_Babbelhund ?
confused.com here, if you don't have internet how can you post on forum? Would love to know for future reference for me!Internet is out, but politely lasted until the end of my last work meeting at 8:30 pm. Power has been off and on but mainly on. No damage that I can see from my little perch upstairs. Overall I think (knock on wood) we got off pretty easy.
Now if the internet comes back by tomorrow morning, that would be lovely.
I'm still working with my fitness coach and he told me just to put on my windbreaker and get outside anyway. I wanted to say, "Have you looked at the news, mate?"
No, seriously, I'm not getting out there to get smacked in the head by a tree limb. It really would be just my luck!
Either directly on my mobile or using my mobile to tether to my laptop so that I can use my mobile data to give me connectivity on my laptop.confused.com here, if you don't have internet how can you post on forum? Would love to know for future reference for me!
I didn't know that was possible! When my wifi was down yesterday, my phone didn't access wifi! I have an I-Phone and am with BT. So as I don't have Vodafone that is probably the reason.Either directly on my mobile or using my mobile to tether to my laptop so that I can use my mobile data to give me connectivity on my laptop.
I'm actually really lucky as BT in the area is out for both wifi and mobile. So my home wifi (BT) is out, but my mobile (Vodafone) is up, so (knock on wood), I can just suck down my mobile data allowance.
I never thought of ‘wuthering’ as being a real word. It’s a great word to describe the weather.Still wuthering around here,
It's a real word alright up here in the Grim North!I never thought of ‘wuthering’ as being a real word. It’s a great word to describe the weather.

It's not wifi, it's mobile data. Could you access anything online through your phone? To make sure you have mobile data turned on, go to "Settings" then "Cellular" (or maybe "Mobile" on yours), then scroll down on the same screen and make sure you've ticked the toggle box to green for Safari or whatever else you want to access using mobile data when you're wifi isn't available.I didn't know that was possible!
