We are too - a load of equipment was dropped off earlier ready for next week. Unfortunately we’re not having a swimming pool but a patio area with pergola and some more lawn. It’s in the area where there was a greenhouse and a small allotment. If we’d been twenty years younger we’d have grown veggies but alas the mind is willing but not the body. The forecast looks sunny for most of the week, so hopefully they can get it done

We're currently doing a major renovation of the backyard (we've removed a retaining wall and have been digging out 30 cubic metres of sand!). When we're finally done, we'll have the pool (7m x 4m) and should (fingers crossed) have the monkey bars and tramp too. Watch this space
My child is making me paint with him on the deck. Halp.
He eventually came inside while I'm cooking and now he's making James "play exercise" with him. He was sprinting up and down the hallway and doing forward rolls etc.
Yes thankfully we do. Chewie gave up on the playdate and hid in the air conditioned front part of the house eventually.
I should add that the kids were running around in full length rashies playing in the sprinkler and (dog) splashmat.

We're doing it all ourselves (hiring a digger, removing sand, installing new retaining walls) so it's pretty full on. Our pool is more like 5 X 3. Sydney backyard. Plus council won't let us go up so the footprint of our house is larger than we would like.

Yes, Perth is basically one giant sand dune. Under the topsoil, it's just clean white sand. Unless you hit limestone. Then it's expensive

And I am stuck at home! Flicka had her keyhole spay yesterday and we are confined, no walks for a few days. I had hoped with a keyhole we would be out sooner.The weather forecaster on the news has said today will be ‘wall to wall sunshine’
so we did and it was beautiful!
