Thanks, I would hate the lack of rain, though we have had more than our fair share here in UK, rain, rain, rain, rain and even more rain! Fortunately the last three days it has stopped and we have had lovely frosty early mornings, but still loads and loads of MUD!

we’ve had a fairly mild-ish winter so far but it’s been chilly the last couple days. -16C today, bit of a breeze so about -23C with the windchill. Brrrr

The rain is relentless here, we are now in week three of almost constant rain

Tomorrow another 44c and then 45c, sure it will go higher, oh yeah and the nights not going any lower than in 30c and that is normally just before it gets light....
And what really really upset me and made me angry is a little 1year old pup dies because it was tied up outside, No water or access to shade...makes me so angry

We are staying in today as it is too hot and smoky to go out. Chewie is being an idiot and lying on his outside bed until he gets too hot, then flopping onto the floor indoors. Weirdo.
There are bits of ash landing in my kitchen. The fires are quite a long way west of here, though one is getting close to my uncle's vineyard. They can't leave in case they and their dogs need to evacuate.
And our glorious leader is in Hawaii, living it up.

We are currently sitting at -26 c at 11:00 pm, straight temperature with no windchill. We pump our water from the lake, so hopefully our lines don’t freeze tonight. High today was -17. Tomorrows high is -14. Sunday’s high is 0. This pattern seems to be our new norm.
