Been raining all day today.
Had to put the heating on.
Lilly is off to my SIL for a couple of days as we are getting some roof repairs done and don't want her stressed when we are at work.

Heading across the Tay to Bonnie Dundee this afternoon.....

The wind is really scary here. Massive gusts of wind. I will venture out fir Red‘s toilet walk but hope she ‘goes’ quickly so we can get back indoors

I've just let Joy out into the garden. There are bins and all sorts of things blowing around the streets so we're staying safe. We've had quite enough excitement for today!

The storm hit Cornwall last night , howling around all night long with torrential rain , at one point the wind speed reached 70 mph . I didnt take the dogs for a walk this morning , it was far too dangerous with lots of fallen trees but we did venture out this afternoon just for about 20 minutes , its been foul x

Joy was only out for a few minutes but was so wet when she came back in that I put her dressing gown on her. I'm similarly attired myself!

I have one of those "Ruff and Tumble" think that is what they are called, drying coats, so wrapped up Rourke and he was warm and dry in a very short time I don't have one for me!

I think we’ve been really lucky here. It’s been wet enough to fill a couple of my barrels and quite gusty, but nothing like the rest of the country.

Yes, I quite like doing that, have turned off TV and music just to listen to the wind. No doubt the novelty will have worn off by next Spring though!

We know winter is coming to a close when Maxx takes up his post-walk possie on the deck while he waits for the sun to hit his outdoor bed on the back porch. This deck gets zero sun in winter

We hate him doing this as he lies right on the edge with his ear hanging down but we keep pushing him back away from the edge in case he falls off

It's Spring in 3 days! Right now we have the heater on as the mornings are still cold but not for long.....

We had a lovely sunny 18 yesterday, followed by a huge wind and rain storm! Our power was out for an hour!

I realised that we are not at all prepared for a blackout. We had one torch and one (scented) candle. Thankfully our lovely neighbour must have guessed how useless we are as she ran up and dropped a couple of big candles at our front door.

I just found out that the wind caused trees to fall all over Melbourne (that's why the power was out) but also killed three people, including a four year old boy.
