How funny, if our wind is northerly it means it is warm. If we get a southerly is was last stop Antarctica sometimes! The wind is northerly at the moment, so proper chilly but dry. Swinging round to westerlies tomorrow, bringing warmer air and wet from above![]()
. Our village even made it on the local news last night with a report from the riverfront.
.Yesterday was sooooooooooooooooooo cold!!! I took the boys and the girl out for a walk but decided to wear Jackson in a carrier so that we could share our body heat! I met a friend (Nathan's friend from Kinder and his mum - we're allowed to as it's one other adult, within our 5km, within the 2hr limit, distancing, mask wearing etc.etc.) and the boys ran around in the mud and puddlesWe've had a 'polar blast' cold change yesterday that had us running for jumpers and ugh boots. The wind was diabolical.
But then I saw what's happening down south @Oberon, @Emily and @VanillaBean - gah! Snow where it's never snowed before and highs of 10 or 12 - and it's late September! Madness

Yes I remember the reverse being true when I visited Australia, so peculiar a north wind being so HOT !!How funny, if our wind is northerly it means it is warm. If we get a southerly is was last stop Antarctica sometimes!
How funny, of course - but I’d never thought of itHow funny, if our wind is northerly it means it is warm. If we get a southerly is was last stop Antarctica sometimes!

Spring is 30 degrees?! Too hot for me!Looks like we are getting back to more spring-like weather from today across the weekend then crashing down again
Admittedly 30 degrees is a bit high for spring, normal would be low to mid 20's. But what is normal anymore?Spring is 30 degrees?! Too hot for me!
