Weather

It was a beautiful, sunny day here, once the mist had cleared, so the dogs had a lovely walk at a local golf course. There were several people walking dogs while I was there, but it’s such a huge space that it’s possible to keep a distance away! It was sad to see some people had left dog poo bags around rather than taking them home, though.

I just got back from walking Maxx. It is 7.00am and already 31 degrees and another day in the low 40's forecast. There is a southerly buster coming this afternoon that will immediately drop the temperatures thankfully - by up to 20 degrees.

I'm getting elbow nudges because it was only a short walk. Better go and entertain his Royal Furriness

Hey, I finally have something to post to the weather thread! We got snow here today in Regensburg, just a dusting in town but enough to bring out the snow plows. Carbon was not pleased. Weekend before last in Brittany, it hit (briefly) 17C, this weekend while driving it was 10C and sunny and we arrived in Regensburg to 0C high and -6C low.

All the Germans that complain about how warm it is in December need to sit down and be quiet now. :sealedlips:

On the bright side, it makes quarantine easier because Carbon does NOT want to go out or stay out with ice on the ground!

@Lab_adore Sydney seems to have had a very dramatic storm, looking at the video on the BBC news website. Is everything ok with you?
It was Tuesday night and it was really bad in the West and in the mountains where my sister and nieces live. They said they had a mini cyclone and most of the area was without power for over 10 hours. By the time it got to the coast where I live (about an hours drive) it had fizzled mostly. Lots of lightening and thunder but no damage

Thanks for asking!
