Yes, let your OH cook tonights meal and you have a rest x. Some TLC is definitely in order I think.

I hope you’re not feeling too sore, Alison. These things happen so quickly. Mine didn’t have a walk yesterday - not because I mind the rain, but because I’m now wary of slipping over, as although my shoulder is better it’s not back to normal. Wispa happily went out in the garden, but Tuppy took one look at the pouring rain and declined!I caught my foot in a hidden bramble and just went down.
Well I know he would but fortunately I made a huge fish pie this morning that will last 2 days so neither of us need to worrylet your OH cook tonights meal
I think you are wisenot because I mind the rain, but because I’m now wary of slipping over,
which has really boosted the spirits as it’s been very gloomy. It feels like spring with temps above zero. Should be around 7C the next couple days!
My wrist is terribly painfulHope you're not suffering too much Alison
Did you fall onto your outstretched hand?My wrist is terribly painful
Definitely!Yes I think so
It is swollen around the knuckle. It hurt at the time but it was ok and I could still do things. Pain suddenly got worse late afternoon. Paracetamol has taken the edge off but hand is feeling quite numb yet painful if that makes sense. I can’t use it at all at the momentDoes it look normal shape?
If it is sore here, it could be a scaphoid fracture AlisonSorry @Jacqui-S, I don’t mean knuckle (not thinking straight) - I mean the knobbly wrist bone - don’t know what it’s called

Ah okay, would still get it checked out tomorrow if not easing. It’s the other side
