I hope you feel better tomorrow Alison
Thank you @Lab_adore. I do feel a lot better today. The swelling on my wrist has gone down which is a relief as I really don‘t want to go to A&E. It was horribly painful last night but just sore now. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 it is just a sprain. My face looks a bit of a mess but that will heal. Sorry everyone for high jacking this thread. At least the snow/sleet/rain has stopped so ground conditions should hopefully be better today

How cruel the weather can be sometimes. We are off to the beautiful Hunter Valley wine country on Friday (my birthday is on Thursday) for three nights. We have booked lunch on Friday and Saturday at two four star restaurants and are doing a food and wine tour on the Saturday. We are staying at a resort that has lots of lovely walks

but......dropping from 32 on Thursday to 18 on Friday. 18! That's winter weather here! And wet. Boooooooooo. I've had two days off since we returned from our trip in January as work has been manic and I'm so stressed.....so this weekend away is needed. Oh well, we will still enjoy our food and wine and each other (and a small break from labrador hair)

@Lab_adore, 18 which is the lowest on one day, isn't too bad, we would be quite warm :) However, I do feel for you re it raining, it always rains when I go away, so I just done't go anymore. Perhaps it won't be quite as bad as it says and you will have each other and super food and no work to do!
