Only -2 today, balmy.
Is it still officially summer?Current temp 21 but feels colder. Inside it is still very humid but we can't really open the windows due to the sideways rain.
Oh yes, February is normally our hottest month. Not this year though! Autumn starts 1st MarchIs it still officially summer?
The temperatures here definitely remind me of Scotland. I don’t really mind the freezing underfoot as it keeps the mud at bay, it’s the wind that’s making it miserable walking.Today we have a high of -1. I don’t remember living here, it ever being below freezing all day. It is the last day of freezing temperatures though for the time being - looks like the mud will be back - deep joy!
I had no hot water or heating all day yesterday. The pressure had dropped in the system, easy to fix but our boiler is up in the loft and I don't do lofts or laddersWe seem to have had our heating on 24/7 for the last 5 or 6 days.
I need it to go OFF and get some fresh air in the house but with our frozen hot water pipe - which the plumber fixed, phew - OH has "The Fear".
I'm going to have to wait until he goes out to open all the windows and switch it off for a couple of hours......
No I’m not looking forward to mine! The wind is bitter. I just don’t seem to be able to get warm even though our house is warm. Not going to like our walk today!
