Weather

Well it's sweltering here this morning. I was up & out early (awake since 4am - too hot & OH snoring, 5:30 I gave up). The temperature on the car was 20 degrees at 5:53AM. That's too hot. it was nearly 90% humidity - fallen to 79% now.

I’m fine with the heat as long as I have somewhere to get cool like a pool or with aircon.

There’s just no escape from it at the minute.

Thought I might come down to a labrapuddle this morning.

A scottish friend once told me that he went home for 5 weeks and didn't see the sun once. I was like

If I don't see the sun for two days I get depressed. After a week I would be (pre COVID) booking a flight somewhere north to find it!

That said, the pictures you guys post are incredible. I've never seen such constantly beautiful scenery. I think that would make some bad weather all worthwhile and Scotland moves up my 'must see' list every time. I was so cross that we simply couldn't fit it in last year.

I was up and out early again, we were on the field just before 6. Let Fred and Annie have a good walk before it gets too hot.

The dogs were finding it hard last night so I stayed up til 12 so I could have the doors open to keep them cooler. Up at 420 to fed and on the park at 6 to hot by 7 so headed home. The dogs are flat out now and it's only 8.30

I took the dogs to the river at 7 this morning so that Reuben could at least start the day cool and wet . Its scorching hot outside , curtains closed , both dogs in , I doubt we will be having another walk today, its far too hot for them and me x

Nooooooo! The ideal temp is maybe 23, not too humid, with cool mornings.
Yes! I feel totally washed out in the heat and hate just lazing around. I dread the house heating up and having to keep the windows closed so that the hot, humid air doesn't get in!
