I had a Skype meeting with a colleague in London tonight and he said it is going to be 36 degrees today. Is that right? Phew

It's going to get pretty hot here, but no where near that high

It’s 29 here at 12:00 - will get up to 31 this afternoon. It will stay in the 20’s the whole night. It’s always hotter in London so yes at least 36

Look if any of you want a break from all that warm dry weather and would like to see green fields and get wet, I have a 3 bedroom ( although one is a sewing room) with kitchen diner, sitting room with French windows that can be opened right up, which allows a good through draught , 2 toilets one with views over the fields and if you keek to the side a view of Arran. There is 2 labradors and 3 chickens that would need to be taken care of but full instructions would be given. Looking to swap to any where that the sun shines and is dry and hot.

It's raining yet again, I can't wait for winter as it's supposed to rain and at least I could put the heating on to dry the wet clothes.

Id love be to be in cool and green Scotish countryside,. But I'm still on Shielding. It's hot in the house, but I'm managing to keep me and the doggies cool. It's well into the 30s here today

Its about 26 here , Reuben is at Playgroup , Anna has bought the dogs a huge paddling pool which she has put in the shade of the trees x

We’ve had several days of hot - 25-30- but it’s turned cool again. 17-22 over the next week. Ho hum. Some sun in there so that’s ok but looks like plenty of clouds and rain, too.

Was we were driving back into London from our trip to Devon the car said it was 39 degrees. Luckily we had air con on so didn’t notice until we got out the car.

Tomorrow will be the same - then the dreaded thunder showers next week.

I bought a tall fan from John Lewis, thought it wasn't working quite as well as it should, then an hour later, realised I had it pointing to the wall!!! Keeps Rourke lovely and cool. I am sitting in the garden in my shorts and can feel a cool breeze which is very welcome.

26 degrees here, with a bit of a breeze which is lovely. We have spent the afternoon in the garden, sitting in the shade. Joy did a lot of swimming thismorning and is looking very comfortable in her bed.
