Weather

I went upstairs to put a hot water bottle in the bed, glanced out of the window as I closed the curtains and there was a fox trotting along the canal towpath! It's the first time I've seen that in all the years I've lived here and I regularly look out at about the same time. I wonder if it's new, or if it's a regular occurrence and it was just more visible in the snow
Either way it was quite magical!🦊
Things like that are magical, how lovely. I sometimes see a fox and just lately and for the very first time in 50 years of living here, saw three hares when I looked out of bedroom window. I share your pleasure at seeing your fox, can just imagine it.

...ah, snow had fallen a couple of miles from here...it took me 35 minutes to drive a quarter of a mile. Other routes were shut, so there was only one way. 56 minutes to get from home to the shooting range - usually a 15 minute journey. Today was my first day as Duty Range Officer, so I was supposed to get there nice & early. Ooops.
