Thank you. I went to a craft sale at the weekend and bought her two, because they cost less each for two, and snow was forcast and she has arthritis and she's a Veryvery GoodgirlJoy and they looked snuggly and warm and....well, I'm sure we've all been there!

Things like that are magical, how lovely. I sometimes see a fox and just lately and for the very first time in 50 years of living here, saw three hares when I looked out of bedroom window. I share your pleasure at seeing your fox, can just imagine it.I went upstairs to put a hot water bottle in the bed, glanced out of the window as I closed the curtains and there was a fox trotting along the canal towpath! It's the first time I've seen that in all the years I've lived here and I regularly look out at about the same time. I wonder if it's new, or if it's a regular occurrence and it was just more visible in the snow
Either way it was quite magical!

I woke very early, no snow in sight, woke at 8am and thick snow and still snowing heavily with large snowflakes! Am in West Midlands and just looked out again, even heavier snow!!!

None here, we had a lot of rain last evevninf, but there is some snow on the hills behind us and on The Mountain (Snaefell).

We've had heavy hail this morning. It looks pretty like snow... There are icy roads too, and the inevitible traffic accidents and road closures

Well, I was wrong! No snow overnight and a beautiful crisp clear morning here!

...ah, snow had fallen a couple of miles from here...it took me 35 minutes to drive a quarter of a mile. Other routes were shut, so there was only one way. 56 minutes to get from home to the shooting range - usually a 15 minute journey. Today was my first day as Duty Range Officer, so I was supposed to get there nice & early. Ooops.
